141. If you could make one important change in a school that you attended, what change would you make? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.
REBUID NEW TEACHING BUILDINGS IS IMPERATIVE
If I had the opportunity of changing a special aspect of my university I attended, I would like to ameliorate conditions of teaching buildings. The teaching buildings were built more than 30 years ago, and now they are out of date and need to be polished or toppled down. If my idea could be put into practice, both students and professors would no doubt stand to get a lot of benefits.
As a threshold matter, available rooms and laboratories are limited now, whereas number of students and teachers are creeping in to large quantities. In current circumstance, students often find no additional space to study in when they go to classrooms or libraries. Free rooms are always occupied by only a small portion of students. Some students even get up at 6:00 A.M. in order to loot a location to study. Moreover, several professors have to crowd in a single lab as a result of space confines. Therefore, old teaching building cannot satisfy our demands.
Secondly, our studying and researching environment will be obviously improved on condition that we construct modern architectures to replace original, ragged buildings. Students who study in a brighter, more spacious classroom will certainly have much easier moods than they have in old ones. Besides, teaching assistants will surely feel more comfortable in a larger space as well, when they give lectures in front of students. Furthermore, more space means that we can purchase more books to exhibit in library; thus, it is more possible for students to find their favorite books.
Thirdly, if new buildings were constructed within a short time, my Alma Mater would enslave much more talented, aggressive freshmen and thus increase enrollments. Students who benefits from new architectures will hone special skills and find good jobs when they graduate from my university. As a result, these students will donate back to school, and we can build larger and modern teaching buildings. It is a positive effect. Furthermore, as for professors, our developed conditions of labs will also catch renowned professors' attention. Prominent experts may prefer to work in our university, which is beneficial for us.
In summary, replacing old, ragged buildings with modern, good ones benefits both our students and professors. Such reconstruction has potential influence of ameliorating basic physical and personnel conditions of my school. Consequently, that’s why I put forward my idea of to construct new teaching architectures.
