ADVERTISING IMPROVES OUR LIVES

Advertisements have various forms, such as television ads, magazine ads, and ads added on websites, to name just a few. From this broad propaganda, it can be easily seen that advertises have greatly influenced our daily life. From my standpoint, I hold that advertisements tell us about innovate products which might ameliorate our daily living.

As a threshold matter, certain industrial products are able to improve our lives to a higher level, and it is advertising that makes us aware of such significant things as washing machine, dishwasher, and air conditioner. Take dishwasher for instance. Without notice of it, folks may still have to clean dishes and bowls by them, which is especially intolerable in winter when freezing running water stings hands. It is advertisements that change this tough situation. The masses get to know how great dishwashers are. Dishwashers prevent them from frigid water and save considerable time for them to spend on something more important.

Secondly, air conditioner is another example that advertisement has deeply influenced our daily life. It is safe to say that the majority of people today cannot live a life without air conditioner, which is especially true in extremely equator areas where temperature is usually as high as 35 or even higher centigrade. With the help of air conditioner, the multitudes will work in writing buildings comfortably and focus on routines instead of keeping cold. Fans will only offer noise and won't decrease temperature. Thus, ads of air conditioners have introduced a impressive product that improves our lives.

Thirdly, as for women, especially those young ladies, perhaps ads of cosmetics are the most important part of their lives -- how to keep young and free of caducity. Typically, young women care their appearances to a great extent. They purchase various makeup, such as astringent, lipstick, foundation cream, etc, all of which are given publicity by advertisements. From what is advertised on television, magazine and Internet, women get to understand which sort of makeup is the very product they need to keep young and up to date and which kind of cosmetics is the right thing that they demand to stay distinctive from others.

In summary, advertisements teach us about new products that may contribute to better lives in several aspects -- for example, house works, makeup, and transportation. These influences, indeed, can be perceived and touched during daily lives when we eat, when we drive to companies, and when we enjoy convenience brought by applicants.
