IMPROVING ENVIRONMENT IS IMPERATIVE
If I could spare several hours of my time each month to ameliorate my community, I would like to spend these time in improving environment to a good situation, in respect that current environment of my community is so bad that various problems are occurring. Therefore, something must be done to change this gosh situation.
As a threshold matter, garbage is easily seen everywhere -- including corners, streets, but not trashes. Those dispersed used cans and glass bottles have a bad smell all day long, and no one clean them. As a result, air condition has become worse and worse. Some occupants even get respiratory problems caused by polluted air. It is quite common to see folks who go through this district using tissues to mask their faces and coughing. Thus, if I could spend sometime in community work, I would pick up all these garbage into designated place. Without living rubbishes, atmosphere would be much better than it is now.
Secondly, to clean environment of my community, I would also wipe out all wastes in the Central Park which is located in the northeastern part of my region. The park now is hardly a resort for residents to patronize because majority of trees were cut and sold a couple of years ago and few are left. Today, all that can be seen is concrete benches and a barren plaza. Moreover, sanitation of the park is worsened due to some imps' dropping wastes there. Thus, in order to ameliorate this dirty location, I would clean all wastes in the park first, then plant more green trees, beautiful flowers in the Central Park.
Thirdly, another thing that has a paramount relation with environment of my community is that too many folks are selling stuff along the Main Street, which induce towards traffic problems and make safety of residents here endangered. Moreover, vehicles that are trapped in streets emanate even more gas pollutes, because they spend more time in passing through the crowed of vendors. Therefore, I would encourage those people who sell things along the street to move to another designated location, such as uptown. It can be predicted that gas pollutes and traffic sticklers would be considerably reduced and solved, provided that my action effects.
In summary, the environment problems are the most crucial and paramount matters that we must resolve, or all the occupants of my community will stand to bide a worse and worse environment. Then, in the final expression, I would like to do something to ameliorate environmental situation of my community if I could spare several hours per month to change it.
