I can't agree with the arguer's claim. To the contrary, I believe only looking back and interpret the past can show a clarity direction to walk in the present. Failures we suffered and experiences accumulated in the past play an important role in guiding our life in contemporary.

Take learning for example, each of us surely have made some mistakes or experienced confusion from elementary to senior school, and to college and university. Matters we have solved make us forming certain ways in our minds, and these experiences are benefit for us in leaving dilemma. A pupil, for instance, learned how to add, subtract, multiply and divide, consequently he or she has the ability of making complex algorithm by using basic math operations. Another typical example comes from verbal. Fluent expressions are based on good mastery of vocabulary. No individual can write excellent essays without learning glossary by heart.

In lots of other realms, summarizing the past also puts positive impacts on living in the present, such as sales, physics, films, etc. It can be easily concluded this claim after reading next instance. In 1960s, Ang Lee, a Chinese movie director, began to shoot films in Hollywood. At first, when his products were offered in cinemas, none was interested in them, and Box Office was not as high as expected. Lee considered this situation immediately and found that his works didn't cooperate with local customs. Consequently, Lee changed his ways of making movies to cater Hollywood's style. Nowadays, his films are popular with quantities of people and have seized several awards.

To sum up, looking back for an inductive of the past is critical to ruling today's activities. If we do not take the past seriously, we will make the same mistakes in the future. Looking back is of tremendous important in helping us face tough circumstances.

Well, it's hard to write

ISSUE194 - "The best preparation for life or a career is not learning to be competitive, but learning to be cooperative."

The arguer of this sentence believes it is cooperative attitude that contributes to one's success in society, not competitive spirit. Personally speaking, I couldn't agree with this viewpoint. Both competitive and cooperative attitude to schedule life or career are critical.

First of all, being competitive is a necessary condition of achieving huge success. Just to consider, if someone is not eager to compete with others, how can he or she manage his or her dream? Take one of my neighbors for example, his family was very rich when he was in junior school, and he was very satisfied with his life. But unfortunately, his parents lost entire of their fortune on account of a unhappy thing. Consequently, he is not happy now.

Besides being competitive, cooperative too is a must in one's preparation for his living. if you refuse to cooperate with others, or are not good at expressing yourself, it is difficult for you to get success.

Last but not least, competive and cooperative method are complmentary. Neither of two should be ignored. The best preparation for life or a career is not only learning to be competitive, but also learning to be cooperative.

Words above are written by me, and even I know they reflects navie idea of me. Nevertheless, earth is still running around sun, and I am on the way.

a busy schedule must be made

This morning ETS sends an email to me, informing that my GRE test appointment has been made. Exam date is 09 Apr 2008, computer-based exam.
So there are about 45 days left for me to prepare coming test. A detailed learning schedule must be worked out before next Monday.
It's time to do something. I believe I can manage it. Come on, boy!

Zhao has received the offer from MS. It's the best news I have heard since New Year. He says he is too excited to describe his mood now. I am very happy too, and I have congratulated him on receinving this offer. In my SMS message sending to him , I suggested that he should affix his signature to the MS's contract.

Born of powerful ideas

The first time I saw her was in November, 2006. At was offered an opportunity of part-time work from Mercedes-Benz. The main task of this job was to inthat time, I troduce CLS350, a brandnew type of car produced by Mercedes, to visitors who came to Beijing International Auto Show. In the show, I met R8 in Audi exhibition district.

This photo is taken in Shanghai Formula1 Racing Track. I am deeply shocked by her vicious shape. But it is more accurate to say she is a piece of artwork. Isn't the description above too abstract? Yes, it is.

After thinking about the word 'artwork', which is the most frequently used word I have ever heard to draw her, I cannot find one to describe R8 more appropriate. I believe everyone will be impressed by her anger front face. If she is F430, this feeling may not walk into my mind. Instead, I will think about pressure, etc.

why so cold?

I just don't know why people in hometown can stand this cold weather. There is no central heating system, and air conditioner seems useless.

My country is experiencing the worst snowstorms since the past 40 or 50 years. But thanks to god, matters such as power failure or warter problems have not happened so far. A postgraduate classmate of mine told me that she had not watched TV, seen running water from the tap or using cell phone in home for three days because several days' bad weather had destroyed plenty of infrastructures. In Guangzhou railway station, about 400,000 persons are in dilema.

What a terrible thing! I cannot imagine what to do even just in the case of three days' network access denied. Nevertheless, we have to face up with this tough situation. According to the weather forecast, another snowstorm is coming. I may find everything in white after getting up tomorrow.
